Passionate about...thinking differently and making a difference
As Compton Green’s leader and visionary, Adrian steers the ship with energy and passion, inspiring everyone to think differently.
Real estate has been Adrian’s passion for more than 25 years. A natural storyteller, he was immediately attracted to the idea of becoming an auctioneer. As with everything he undertakes, he took to it with gusto.
After only a couple of years auctioneering, he won the Real Estate Industry of Victoria (REIV) Victorian Novice Auctioneers Competition and went on to win multiple awards, including the REIV Senior Auctioneers Award four times. He has also reached the Grand Finals three times in the National Championships and has been teaching auctioneering since 1996. His auctioneering skills are well-renowned in the inner west and remain in high demand. Adrian is also a member of the REIV’s Auction Chapter and has been a Director of the REIV.
Adrian loves making connections with people–and telling the occasional story or two! “This business is all about people. Connecting with them, understanding them. Being honest and transparent with them. We are interacting with people as they make the biggest financial decision of their lives. It’s important to be empathetic and authentic” he said.
He is also passionate about making connections, and a difference, within the community. Adrian has been a Committee Member of the Hobsons Bay Community Fund since 2013, a local council body which supports community groups and organisations operating in the Hobsons Bay municipality. He is also past President and a current member of the Rotary Club of Williamstown.
What’s he doing when he’s not selling property? You can usually find him telling stories to his three beautiful children and wife Dee, enjoying adventures in the great outdoors, or appreciating the never-ending supply of good food and coffee the inner west has on offer.
